1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of claremills.com and any purchase, commission, or communication with Clare Mills Designs LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Orders & Custom Commissions
Many pieces are made to order or fully custom. Because each item is handcrafted, production timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary based on design complexity, stone sourcing, and current commission volume. We will communicate expected timelines and any delays as part of the design process.

Custom commissions typically require a deposit before work begins. Deposit amounts and refund terms will be confirmed with you in writing (email or text) before any deposit is collected.

3. Payment & Pricing
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice for pieces not yet ordered. Payment is due as outlined at the time of order or commission agreement. We use a third-party payment processor and do not store full payment card details.

4. Shipping & Delivery
We take reasonable care in packaging and insuring shipments of finished jewelry. Risk of loss transfers according to our shipping carrier's terms; please inspect deliveries promptly and report any issues within a reasonable time.

5. Returns, Repairs & Warranty
Because most pieces are custom or made to order, returns and cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis and will be discussed with you before your commission begins. Manufacturing defects will be repaired at no cost within a reasonable period after delivery; normal wear, damage from misuse, and sizing changes requested after fitting are not covered.

6. SMS Messaging Terms
If you opt in to receive text messages from Clare Mills Designs, the following terms apply in addition to our Privacy Policy:

You may receive messages related to order updates, appointment reminders, customer service, and occasional promotions, depending on what you opted in to.
Message frequency varies based on your orders and interactions with us.
Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier and plan.
Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You'll receive a one-time confirmation that you've been unsubscribed; no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.
Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the information below.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Intellectual Property
All designs, photographs, and content on this Site are the property of Clare Mills Designs LLC unless otherwise noted, and may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission. Custom commission designs remain original works of Clare Mills Designs; purchasing a piece does not transfer reproduction rights in the design itself.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clare Mills Designs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products, beyond the amount you paid for the item in question.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Confirm with a licensed attorney before publishing — this section and the liability section above should be reviewed for your specific business situation.

10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
